Up until the end of April, I worked for a major steel company (employing 24,000 people around the world), in their Communications Department. My primary role was to help them with their English:
- through Editing texts written in English,
- Translating texts from Spanish and/or Portuguese to English,
- and Writing texts for the company in English.
As my time with the company developed, I worked on other projects and had a more diversified role. I worked on internal campaigns for different areas of the company, on Opinion Surveys, in the drafting of magazines, pieces for external audiences, editing audiovisual material, and so on.
After just under three, great years with the company, which gave me all the tools and experience I have to succeed now, I decided to launch myself as a freelance Communications Consultant, offering the same services as they paid me to do, but for myself.
My offer to the job market is simple: first-class editing, translating and writing of corporate and non-corporate texts in English at competitive rates. My aim is to constantly develop my abilities by working on different projects and I am always on the lookout for new ideas.
